Mireille studied medicine and became a medical specialist at the UMC Utrecht. Then she worked for a year as a reconstructive and hand surgeon at the Burn Center / Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk.
By now she has been working as a plastic surgeon for 5 years. She is a member of NVPC, NVEPC and fellow of FEBOPRAS.
